Level 2 Package

  • Up to 150k words

  • Up to 15 interior images

  • Footnotes

  • Custom paragraph break images (customer-provided)

  • Running headers and page numbering

  • Unlimited revisions*

The above packages can be purchased as is, but formatting is not one size fits all. I would prefer to custom price all my formatting jobs—there’s no reason for you to spend more than you need to! These packages are primarily to demonstrate what services you can purchase at what price point.

*Unlimited revisions include minor corrections such as fixing typos, adding reviewer blurbs, etc. Large-scale revisions may incur additional fees.

Book Cover Design

Got a cover image but no text? A front cover but no spine or back copy? I’ve got you covered. Add cover design to your formatting package, or purchase it by itself (the flat fee for book cover design is $30). Below are some covers I have designed the text for (as well as formatting the interiors!).

FAQs

What do I need to provide?

In order for the design process to go smoothly, I require the following before beginning your book design:

  • Finished manuscript

  • Word count

  • List of contents (see here for an example)

  • Any images to be included

  • Your cover

  • Your book trim size

  • A brief blurb of your book so I get an idea of the genre/mood/vibe

  • Any special requests

Can you design my cover?

I do not do custom cover illustrations, but I can design the text and back cover copy for your book. For examples of my cover designs, click here. If you would like to commission a cover illustrator but aren’t sure where to start, I’m happy to provide artist recommendations!

Can you provide interior illustrations or chapter illustrations?

I do not do custom illustrations. If you would like to commission an artist to create interior illustrations for you and aren’t sure where to start, I’m happy to provide artist recommendations!

Can you provide both a paperback and a hardcover layout?

Yes. If your paperback and hardcover are the same trim size, I will provide both at no additional cost. However, if you require two different trim sizes, the second layout will cost an additional 50% of the original layout fees.

What is your timeline?

Ebook formatting will be completed within 5 business days of receiving all content and materials. After the ebook is approved by you, the hardcover format will be completed within 3 business days. Rush jobs are available for a fee.

My AI Policy

I will not work with any author who uses Generative AI output (such as ChatGPT for the text content, or generative image programs such as DALL-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or Adobe Firefly for cover images or interior images).
